Funds and portfolio strategies do not have to be boring nor do they have to be a mystery. Proof of that was the Fonds-GV of UBS, last year already for the fifth time. We helped the bank to get a lot of attention with this fascinating one-hour stage presentation and to ideally market the funds of the bank.
In 2002, the marketing team of UBS Wealth Management Switzerland was looking for a new way to communicate with the existing customer base as well as with potential new clients. As it turned out, with our presented proposal “Roadshow Fonds-GV” we had hit the jackpot. Our concept put the world of UBS-funds into an exciting one-hour stage presentation with an expert discussion session and various video insertions. The audience was enthused from this “economic television” live on stage.
Why did the UBS Fonds-GV 2008, which toured through Switzerland already five times, turn out to be such a huge success? On the one hand it was important that we understood the needs of our clients. On the other hand, we recognised the stories that are hidden in the world of funds and portfolio management and knew how to put them on.
The team of UBS let itself get into the idea and we could rely on the full support of our client at all time through all of their business units, hierarchies and locations. This goodwill and the support were extremely important for us to successfully create the Fonds-GV.
